Referring to note 5 on the referenced website (which mentions EEA), on a recent
trip to Hamburg my wife had a free battery replacement for her iPhone6s which
was out of AppleCare cover.

Earlier this year i had a free battery replacement for my iPhone6 (several
years old) in Brighton, it didn’t quite last for an 8 hour day.

We have also had excellent support in New York 2 years ago for an iPad problem
(out of AppleCare cover), and a free front glass replacement (single crack, not
starred) on wife’s iPhone6s (out of AppleCare cover) in Hong Kong also 2 years
ago.

Some others, of course, will have negative experiences with Apple, but not us.

The only advice I would offer for good service is look helpless and be extra
polite.

Paul Owen.
