I have a friend who has one of the new model Airtronics transmitters

At any rate, he had problems with it throughout the season, as it would
seem to just 'drop' the programming, and he'd have to do the thing all
over. Well, the

I will be leaving Tullahoma for California at 5 AM. I will be stopping at
Chino and other aviation related sites on the way to Visalia. Hope to see

I don't think anyone will get to the 300 lb load that will give him or her a
guaranteed winner. Nevertheless, I needed to put an upper limit on the test
just in case some brilliant design carried a load that exceeded my test

Do it! Design and build an RES plane with all the knowledge that has
accumulated and all the new materials and techniques available since
the heyday of the nostalgia planes. You'll have a great-flying plane
and a lot of fun!

The wing is supported at both ends and loaded in the middle, I would call
that a whole wing. It is not a cantilever wing supported at one end and
loaded at the other.

OTOH, there can be multiple winners, so the prize could be much less. I think this
contest sounds cool, but since the title is "Strongest LIGHT WEIGHT Wings," shouldn't
the lightest wing that passes the test be the winner? Just a thought.
Either way, it's a cool contest.

I'm not sure if this is clear or not, but is it a whole wing (ie, left and right wing
tip), or half a wing (a wing tio and a root)?
