FYI, I tried this program and it did nothing to stop SPAM. Netscape's
spam filter works pretty good. Now, I only get a few a day versus 20-30
a day with MailWasher.

I agree with Jared. I like the email format better, and my Norton
Anti-virus software, along with my spam and spyware blockers have kept me
virus and ad free so far.

I throw in
with Jared on his comments about he prefers the e-mail format BECAUSE if anyone
knows it is him. He single handedly set up our club's website, discussion
forum, photo section, and all the other segments that make up a really great
website. He has really raised our clubs exposure

A forum would group things by topic in a tree structure, correct? That
would be prefererable to the e-mail format. You would only download what
you want to read then. I do, however like the messages coming to me instead
of having to go get them.

I agree with Jarad.
I like this format rather than wading thru a forum. Forums are useful, but
I too like getting the email from this group. Nice to read, and there are
some useful ideas.
Its relatively easy to filter out the occasional spam and virus stuff. The
delete key works quite well.

Personally I like the e-mail format. You can already view (and I believe
post) to this list, in a forum like environment, form rcgroups.com.
Personally I like having all of the e-mail, and it's more convenient than a
forum.
The only things that I don't currently like about the list are the prob

It is a sad state. My email has been spoofed to make posting to lists
and I have had one email exchange with someone that was sent a virus

What are we to do?
Until they spoof digital signing, we could use that, but what a
pain.

I now have 3 filters in place. Due to the limitations of the old software on
my old email computer I have no other choice but to delete emails from
"Orman", "mrmaseratiman" or "sneidley" directly from my ISP server. A better
computer would have more options but this one doesn't.
