HELP! Being new to electrics, I am wondering if the Great Planes
Lithium-Polymer 1200mAh 11.1V 3-Cell Pack would be ok for use in my 2M Renny
electric. I has an Aveox 2713 motor, with Phoenix 25 amp Brushless
Sensorless Speed Control. Is something else better? I want to keep the plane

Hi Rense,
Great Planes recommends a maximum discharge rate of 8C for that pack.
Whether or not that's the max continuous or max burst discharge is unclear,
so I'd take it as the burst rate. You continuous discharge rate would
probably be more in the range of 6C with some airflow.

I'm sure this issue has been brought up before, but there have been a number

email. For those of you who see your posts with HTML text following,
Another equally easy option is to receive your RCSE in the non digested
format, create your own mailbox for it, and deliver it there. It is
easier to preview the subject headers at a glance and you get both plain
text and html messages.

I saw a 150 watt (continuous) inverter at Target for $15. Plenty for
your typical soldering device. I now have one. Much better solution
for field soldering work IMHO. Rather not have to do any though ; )
