Try this: Take packing tape and fold over the amount of non-sticky area you want and stick it to itself. Press out on a nice flat surface. Cut to 1/4 to 1/2 sticky part (depending on what you are sticking it to) makes a nice gap seal. Tom TG 32 Mount View Dr Afton, VA 22920 540 943-3356 fax

There's a great hinge tape: Frost King from Lowes or Home Depot. It is a UV stable poly tape used for greenhouses. It's 3 wide, so you do have to cut it. I also found that clear Hockey stick tape from Dicks or any other sporting goods shop is fantastic for both hinge tape and wing tape.

Just a note on the hockey tape. I bought some at the local ice rink that didn't work out very well. The backing separated from the adhesive after awhile. The tape was kind of opaque on the roll and clear in one layer. Sorry I can't give you a brand name as there isn't one on the cardboard

Tom, Thanks for the response. I think the Mylar type is what I am looking for. The way this seal works is more like a wiper and I'd like the stiffness of the Mylar. Let me know if you remember where you got it. -- Greg From: Tom Broeski [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Sun, 2 Jan 2005 07:49:31 -0500
