You guys do realize that in a glider ALL your landings are dead stick,
right??

Has anyone seen a JR 610 rx just die? Its only got a couple of hours of
flight time on it, no burn marks anywhere on the PCBs, tried swapping
crystals, etc. When I plug in a battery the servos twitch, but nothing
else. How long does JR normally take to service these things?

I love my Blaster, had some initial problems with it...all more my fault
than the planes. Once my RX gets back from JR it will be up in the air
again!
The plane launches extremely well and it's exceptionally nimble. Mine
weighs in at 10.2oz (it's actually 11.1 now with the altimeter installed)
Actually that's my plan from now on. End every flight with me screaming
"DEAD STICK!". What's really bad is the thing glides better than
some of the sailplanes I have flown in the past; somewhere between a Sig
Ninja and a Sig Riser 100.

Got out and tossed mine a few more times in the wind rain and cold, and it is
amazing. The thing covers ground like a rocket and I managed to hook up in
some air indicated by inland Seagulls before I left the field.. Camber makes it

Okay guys,
Word is that the Agea has shown itself to be the new TD bagged plane, taking up
the reins where the Compulsion series left off.
I was at Barry Kennedy's place this week (Kennedy Composites) and saw that he
had two complete new in box Agea/Ava fuse/tail group 'kits' collected and bot

Lol! Speaking of dead stick landings...
I did my first over Thanksgiving. I was up in CO Springs visiting my
girlfriend's parents. Her step dad was just getting into power and asked me
to help trim out his plane. Never having flown a plane with a prop before I
said "Sure."
We got to the field

Yeah is Howard was the stud everyone thought he was he would have done a

And speaking of which, I did my first dead stick landing last week on my
pattern plan
Bill, the Aviator was just entertainment, and and pretty good at that. When I
want history, I go to the library. Movies, for me, are in the entertainment
arena.

Remarkably strong acting performance by most all the folks on the
screen. Questionable historical accuracy on the aviation stuff. The
Spruce Goose did not get hundreds of feet in the air. Not that much in the

I used to own a business in Harrogate. There is an active glider club
there, and they have a fantastic field. Harrogate is a beautiful town and
you will enjoy your visit there. I do not know how to contact the club.
