Never mind. I tried starting the thing and it won't start. It has some
huge capacitor inside that looks rather scary, plus I'd hate to release
the CFCs into the air while venting the thing. Back to the curbside
with it!

Not sure if this is what you want, but
Does anyone know if Coverite's 21st Century Fabric covering can be used in
the same applications as Solortex. I'm looking for something that has a
little more abrasion resistance than standard low heat shrinks or packing
tape to cover a Zagi.

Hi All!
I got some scale pilot dummies in 1/3.5 and 1/4 scale
they have been made for special order to fit style of 50's and 60's but
could be used to any glider between 1/4-1/3 scale.
if they would become popular I might try to have more of them in the future.

Hi Guys,
The Shadow 1 will be reviewed in RCSD in the next issue. Tech tested
by George Steiner and field tested by me (of course :)
The results? Better than anyone of us hoped and not close to what is
coming from Sombra shortly, in fact more of the Shadow series will be introduced

the unit by the side of the road and it has the typical plumbing for
an AC unit. Anyone have any ideas whether I can scavenge the pump from
this free unit to hook up to a vacuum bag? Fridge pumps should be

It will be interresting to test the Shadow 3. The last month I have been

So I need another crystal. Then I asked Polk for a receiver. Jus
I have to say the march of technology within our hobby is simply

Does anyone have any experience with this receiver? It looks too good to be
true... but with today's SMT technology I'm not surprised. Any feedback
good/bad is much appreciated.
Thanks.

I put together a new version a Deluxe kit. It
includes all that was in the original LED solenoid kit plus the hookup wire,
heat shrink, mounting plate, and solder. So all you now need is common
tools soldering iron and drill.
No excuse not to do it now. Deluxe kit is

Oleg,
Thank you for your comments. My apologies for missing the Span Loading

That said, I still don't agree with the trends you've noted unless one is
dealing with the induced drag term (and wing) in isolation from everything else.
You can't ignore
FYI:
Jared of Austin, TX posted this link in a RCGROUPS thread that I follow. I
found it quite interesting. It is a paper on formation flying and on page 19
talks about elliptical formations reducing drag. It takes about 4 minutes to
load at 28kb because it is a 26 page PDF
