I want to publicly say on RCSE that Ed of Sky King RC is a
great vendor. I recently made a purchase of a composite Shrike from his
company and he made the transaction smooth and easy. The plane is top
notch as with his service. Mahalo Ed, I really appreciate it!
Aloha to all on RCSE.
You guys will be happy to hear that things went great for my new ´job´ in Mexico, so it looks like I´ll be spending a lot more time down here, which means a bunch of you will now have time to catch up to me LSF-wize!
I never did find a winch but definitely found a few world class wenches!

Les,
We are going to need some additional information concerning the type of
plane you are going to use the covering on. Technically speaking, microfilm
will be the lightest, but it contributes virtually no strength to something
like a built up Spirit.

Anyone can check this out easily. No formal education
required. `Trim' your model to fly straight and level. Trip one
side (wing) but not the other. (Double stick tape makes it easily
and reversible.) Observe. Before someone jumps all over this
simplification, let me caution that results w

I sold my 8103 to a friend and before he could use it the battery self

apparent damage was to the back side of the case and the battery cover. If

I think I still have some 48" 1/16th wire how much do you need?

I can't think of any reason to be using 1/16 music wire for pushrods.
Either use 1/16 carbon fiber rods or use hypo tubing.
If you want 6 ft long straight wire, Small Parts does sell stainless steel

straight pushrod, you pr
I have never seen anything longer than 36" in 'straight' wire. We used to
get in coils when I was at NASA, but it was the very devil to straighten.
However, we got pretty good at using a DUALL band saw blade welder to seld
two peices of straight wire together in order to extend it.
