Anyone interested in doing some contest for some bucks, I'm talking
about a $50. to $200. entry fee with all of it paid back.
They do it in a ton of amateur sports, from golf , bowling, bass fishing,
ect.
Any reason why not in T/D flying ?
Anyone interested in the Midwest anyway ?

When I do go slope flying, it is almost always over water - the Pacific
Ocean. My favorite spots to fly are Kahakuloa and Kapuna. If there was a
problem, most of the time the wind will blow the plane back toward the slope
and the plane will not end up in the water...but smack against the rocky

Yep, we have those in Texas that want to walk the 1K. Tim Bennett a
SLNT member did it on 8/28/05 and I was a witless. It may be easier to get
in the back of a pick up because you are near the airplane.

Contest. It will be held at the flagpole 7:15 am to 7:30 am, Saturday and

electronics in a dielectric oil you can safely recover your gear.
I bought Aerotrend's AeroPlate... saw it at the Wram show they run a
little N gauge train in water at the show.

I have obtained a Fred Sage Compulsion kit with the FS01 airfoil. Can

Guys. . . I see Small Parts, Inc. has it in 10 piece bundles, but I have an
immediate and urgent need for enough .046" or .047" music wire to make 8
pieces 1-1/2" long.
Anyone have a little of this stuff they could send me pronto? If so, let me
