I have a hard time understanding why anyone would spend money on a
computer radio and then resort to hot glueing swithches in a specific
position. The only reason I can think of would be so that they would not
become activated by chance. The real solution to that problem would be

If you have a Futaba 8 channel it is advisable to disable the flap knob
so it has no effect on the flaps at all.

CR Aircraft does not have a website. You would have to call or write and
get a catalog.
Maybe someone else will direct you to a site that has some pictures of
the Fun 1.
I just ordered one about 2 days ago. You really can't beat the price and
the performance is great. Nice, fast slope ship. And
A friend of mine(will call him Bill) had some of the first Feather Rx's
out. There was a problem with the length of the antenna. This caused
very limited range. He sent the Rx's back and had them fixed and
recieved them back in less than a week. He says now they have same range
as other Hitec Rx's

Why don't you two just unzip your wing bags, pull em out and measure
up. The biggest, baddest, fastest wing WINS.

All,
This favorite film subject has evoked more messages than most topics
I've seen lately. And nobody is trashing opinoins of others choices. No
flames, no put downs, no super opinionated statements. How novel. How
unlike most other topics here on the list.

A friend of mine gave me some nice surface coat from Fiberglast that was
in quart size container. Denoted as 1099 on the can. First time I have
used it. Worked great.

Some think that the higher the price the better the product. Sometimes
there is a limit to how much better something can get.
I have heard complaints about the Airtronics 141's, the accepted
standard flap servo.

Bruce,
I'm no expert in epoxy but I do use the West System epoxy for bagging.
What I am wondering is why this stuff didn't get hard sooner. If you
mixed much more hardener into it than you should have it seems that it
should have hardened in a shorter amount of time. Only thing I can
figure is t
I have two Super Slim 8 channels and they work fine. Same range as any
other Rx and dual conversion. Very nice if you need more than 5
channels, like the 555, for mixing purposes. This Rx only weights a bit
more. .9 oz with case or about .7 oz without case. Not sure of the
without case weight as I

This Rx is made for slow flyers, ect. The range is not adequate to HL.
Saw a review in a mag that put the usable range at only about 600-700
feet.

Silver solder is I believe more expensive. How much I don't know. It is
usually used in refrigeration work. Heat pumps, coolers and freezers. It
has a higher melting point and is usually done with a torch.

Sure someone out there can find it in a mag somewhere. Sell for about
$80 if I recall correctly.
Tord,
Have seen a brand called the Kestral (advertized in model mags MAN?
others?) that will give it all to you. Not sure of the max. wind speed
but belive it was in the 60mph range.
