What are the options(different planes) for 60 inch EPP racers?
Do these planes get flown in class races by clubs or are they just

I am embarking on the cnc hot wire quest and have gathered my more
capable(than me) friends together for the project.
I was wondering if the few people on the list who use this setup could
answer a couple of questions I have?
1. When cutting smaller span cores (we want 48 inch max) than
Foam melters,
I have been cutting pink foam for a while and have just done some tests
with EPP. I am getting quite a bit of what I would call "angel hair"
with the EPP. Before I waste a buch of this stuff testing temps I would
like to poll the list and see if it is possible to reduce the amount

I have a Chrysalis and it is a great plane. I built it stock with the
smaller suggested tail volume. I covered the wing per plan and have had
NO problems with flutter even with a strong"ish" throw in windy
conditions. I don't think you need fancy(expensive) reinforcement. I
used the stock

I will be CD'ing a pylon race next month for the first time. I would
love to hear advice for running a smooth event. Our club is pretty small
so I expect no more than ten flyers. I was planning to have two classes:
48 inches and 60 inches.

Thank you all very much for such good ideas for helping epoxy cure at
cold temps. I will probably be making a box of some sort with all the
foam I have saved up from my wing cutting learning phase(ongoing) and
use some lights to heat it.

When I was learning how to fly (and 5 min epoxy back together) my
Wanderer at the local slope(Coyote Hills) what I really wanted to fly
was that cool lookin' Coyote or that scary lookin' Cheetah. Man those
planes looked fast just staring at me from the magazine pages!

I use pink foam for this plane and it is a very easy material to work
with. It sands very easily with drywall screen, I
