at the battery will reverse a FLS motor, it won't. It will blow the diode in the newer type solenoid though. Done that. Thanks for any info. Rick

two batteries won't last very long so if you have a winch battery you might want to bring it to share. Gas prices are high but I wouldn't miss the NATS for anything. Almost, that is. Rick

is the best (lightest without breaking) way of joining left and right wing halves. ??Epoxy in a joiner and fiberglass the halves together?? Thanks, Rick

Has anyone else destroyed their Onyx JW yet? I need a right wing tip to start my repairs. I might be able to rebuild the rest of it. Thanks, Rick

breaks really slowed down the contest even though we had several experienced winch/retriever operators there to repair the lines. So, you people coming to Phoenix in February, start tapping the winch lines to get a feel for winches with resistors. Rick

Don T, Jeff C, Dave H, and Gordy S, thanks for the information on the balance pt and the tow hook. The range given to me is Balance pt, 108 - 114 mm from LE. Toehook, 1/4 inch forward of CG, or 21 inches from nose. Thanks, Rick

Will someone tell me where to put the tow hook on my Onyx JW? How about the balance point? I know, under the wing but how far from the nose or leading edge? Hope to see lots of flyers at the Phoenix South West Classic. Sign up now to get your frequency. Thanks, Rick

I don't care what the NATS schedule is. I'm driving 1500 miles one way and will have the best fun I have all year long, except certain times with my wife. Make any schedule you want, I'll be there with my AVA and JW Onyx, if I ever get it built. Rick
