If you're an older sailplane pilot, the name LeGray will mean something to you. The LSF gives an award named for LeGray each year but doesn't have much in the way of biographical information or soaring anecdotes. I do know he wrote the soaring column for "Model Builder" a long time ago, designed a sailplane kitted by Midwest Products called the "EZ Juan", and was involved in founding the LSF.
