I've used Blenderm and the HiLaunch tape on many of my planes.

However, I have noticed that the hinge's center-line seems to wander to
one side or the other more with the Blenderm than the HiLaunch tape.

The 3M company produce a 1" flexible/waterproof plastic tape called
BLENDERM. I have an ancient Jouster that has the ailerons and flaps
hinged with it. No failures for over 10 years. I beleive that one of
the major model supply companies sells it under their own name and
packaging for park flyer
I'm sure that tape is great stuff, but is Don Bullet proof? I think the
poster was asking for a bullet proof manufacturer :-)

As most on the list know, the tape is very good and has been used
you a sample, ping me and I'll send a sample as I have
alot.
