Daniel Dual conversion crystals are not compatibles with single conversion receivers. Single conversion crystal are not compatibles with Dual conversion receivers. Run a range test after a crystal change even if it is the right crystal it may be out of tolerance and reduce your range. Happ

I just damaged my Feather reciever (never mind how - damn hangar rash). I'd like to replace it with a 555. Can I put the crystal from the Feather into the 555? The Feather is single-conversion while the 555 is double. The Hitec website lists different part numbers for replacement crystals. I
