The very 1st contest I ever entered was triathlon in Cincy in 1980. I was flying a Drifter 2. I had never seen a winch, and Capt'n Jack had to pedal my model up for me. Hey I won, and I have loved triathlon ever since, and that plaque is the only one I have kept all these years.
