Hey Guys, I just finished building a Ford long shaft winch and retriever, using Laser Arts blueprints. Both units turned out very nice. LA’s shop prints were terrific! Winch Line: 1. What (1) kind and (2) strength of winch line would you recommend? 2. How much line (feet/yards) is needed

Bill, the line strength depends on what you plan on launching. If you plan to be able to launch todays high performance planes to their optimal heigth, I'd recommend #240 braided or mono. I use #240 on mine and we rarely have a line break. If you have a Gentle Lady that you want to launch,
