I've been using 1650 mah packs from RadicalRC both in my transmitters and in 
my planes.  They work very well.  According to RadicalRC these cells have a 
history of reliability that the higher rated cells don't have.   I've found 
they give full capacity, charge up easy and discharge at a rate which is 
more than adequate for use in a plane with 6 digital servos.
