In my role as a member of the D-Lab, I'm putting together a last-minute 1-hour workshop on collaborating with GitHub.
To get something out of it, participants should already be comfortable on the command line and have fluency editing programming source code in a a text editor. They should have git already installed and verified working on the command line, as well as an existing GitHub account (with verified email!). If you need further instructions on any of this, then this is probably not the workshop for you - but stay tuned! We'll discuss the issue tracker, forks vs. branches, pulls/merges and pull *requests*, and how that all fits together.
