Is anyone running Ubuntu 12.10 on net5501?
I am running 10.04 with grub-1.98, since grub versions 1.98 does not boot on
net5501.
Any experiences?

to be perfectly honest, i had so many problems getting it on there,
that i dont really recall the exact things i did...
but i do recall that the i386 generic kernel in 12.10 had some
instruction set removed/added that made it incompatible with the cpu
in the 5501(not sure)... i might have
