already tried the user folder rename.. that was one of the first things I tried, along with the other 3 steps I mentioned in my first post. I am already in the process of removing versions of Softimage.. Tomorrow morning, I'll run some installs, and hopefuly that will do it. WIll be nice to have a

Simply rename your user folder and restart Softimage. Then one by one add your addons, plugins to see if you've got something nasty lurking in your user folder...I had the same this week, and our own exporter went crazy, causing an instant crash Cheers Szabolcs From: softimage-

We installed it on a workstation here for testing, I can't connect our workgroup in Soft, it crashes right away. Other than that, Soft seems to work. Haven't tried it very much because of that problem. However, I'm running it on my personal laptop, and over all it's a fantastic upgrade to windows,

HI all If I had a bunch of particles shaped as a cone and a way from zero, how would one rotate them from there center using ice. Currently am freezing the ice tree and then rotating them this works, but I would love to know how to rotate a bunch of points in ice. Any ideas would be brill Tha
