I am having some issues trying to install softimage onto Windows 7 Home
ultimate. (one of our students laptops)
On the Autodesk Site softimage 2014 and 2015 both say Windows 7 Pro, but I
am definitely able to install Softimage 2014 onto the laptop.
Anyone know if they enforced the Pro

The 2015 setup.ini says

OSMAJVER=6

and I don't think the Home version has a different OS version number.
So the [unspecified] issues are most likely something else.
Did you check the install log in %TEMP%?

It just popped up a box saying this operating system is not supported and when
I clicked okay it disappeared , nothing in the log that I could see.
Very odd, never seen it before.

I’m looking for a way to get Soft to render it’s camera groups in a specific
way.
When you render a camera group, Soft renders all of the frames for the first
camera, then all of the frames for the next and so on.
What I’d like to do is to get soft to render frame 1 for all

Soft 2015 is 64-bits only and requires at least Win7 SP1.
