My one question was not sarcastic, what do you get for the trading in a permanent license for subscription (the price doubles). I can still maintain my Maya/Softimage license for 1 more year then it has to be converted to subscription however they have discontinued the Entertainment suite.

I was on a facebook Houdini artists group and got kicked out all of a sudden for posting "How do you Uninstall anxiety" meme as a joke. I was blocked. So insane. Are there any other Groups / Mailing Lists etc specifically for Houdini? ( that aren't ridiculous like the Houdini artists face books

Houdini Indie is pretty reasonable. I just signed up for 2 year sub for about $350 or so.
