Very stoked for this. ;) ________________________________ From: Tim Crowson [tim.crow...@magneticdreams.com] Sent: 25 March 2015 08:25 PM To: softimage@listproc.autodesk.com Subject: Semi-OT: Modo Rigging Master Course update released
If you do rigging, and are interested in rigging in Modo, you should know that Rich Hurrey (Rigging TD, Pixar) has finally released the long-awaited update to his Rigging Master Course series, to now cover things like deformers, the deformer stack, weight containers, etc.. The initial release covered only the Kinematics side of things in Modo. This digs much much deeper. This update alone contains about 60 hours of video material, where he walks you through everything related to deformation in Modo, and goes through several practical turtorials. I was one of his 'testers' (and since I'm not a rigging guy, that was good...) and although I didn't quite make it through all 60 hours before the deadline, I did get about 80-90% done. It's really thorough, and Rich does a great job explaining the Modo way of rigging. And before you ask, no, this training does not magically improve Modo's performance issues.... ;-) http://www.thefoundry.co.uk/products/modo/training-videos/rigging-master-course-update/?utm_source=community.thefoundry.co.uk&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=rigging-update -Tim Crowson <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" style="width:100%;"> <tr> <td align="left" style="text-align:justify;"><font face="arial,sans-serif" size="1" color="#999999"><span style="font-size:11px;">This communication is intended for the addressee only.
