Softimage Opensource + MacOSX

Hi, If AD is stopping Softimage, do they sell it? What about buying the sources, making it open-sourced and porting to MacOSX. Curious if they want more then 20 m $ ... and if one would find 20.000 people spending 1000$ for that :) Cheers, Rob

They will not sell it; as Martin eluded to, that would not make sense. In the parallel universe where they did, I'm sure it was more than $20m because the purchase reportedly cost them ~$35m, so I imagine at the very least they'd want their full initial sum back. An OSX port will never happen
