Most of SOLR-773 is incorporated into trunk at this point w/ the exception of Cartesian Tier filtering (and, more generically, intelligent field type specific spatial filtering via SOLR-1568). I hope to complete that in the next week or so. Geohash is in and supported by Solr right now.
