JKLF to protest outside EU’s Brussels office Monday, 10 March 2008 17:04
etala’at News Service Srinagar, March 10: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (Rajbagh) has announced to hold a protest demonstration outside the European Union Commission in Brussels on Tuesday to “stress for the need to Kashmir on the pattern of Kosovo.” Claiming that Kosovo and Kashmir issues were similar, a JKLF spokesman here said that they would be asking the world community to apply the same moral standards in solving the Kashmir dispute. “There are similarities in the two issues of which one has been solved by giving independence to Kosovo as per the wishes of majority of Kosovars,” the spokesman said. Students, members of EU parliament, different non governmental organisations, will participatein the protest which would be lead by JKLF leader Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo, he added. Meanwhile Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) has invited Barrister Majeed Tramboo to attend 11th Islamic Summit being held at Dakar, Senegal on March 13 and 14.
