Unknown skin disease afflicts citizens in Abulikry area, West Kordofan KEILAK (21 Sep.)
A contagious skin disease has broken out in Abulikry area in Keilak locality of Sudan’s West Kordofan State, an employee of a local organization said. Al-Fekki Hussein Abboud who works for Ahl Al-Faza organization told Radio Tamazuj that about 20% of the locals were infected by unknown skin disease, adding that they sought medical attention several times but without any cure. He pointed out that the local authorities are silent on the matter, while associating the infection with oil extraction in the area.
