Stumbled across this tool called "giggle". Its a graphical frontend for the git. Apparently gitk for GTK+ http://live.gnome.org/giggle Its a bit slow compared to gitk. But looks much cleaner and nicer. The colors and graphs that we care about look even prettier. Another tool for us to please
