I ended with tar jcvf ~/rpmbuild/SOURCE/zypp-plugin-spacewalk.tar.bz2 * cp package/zypp-plugin-spacewalk.spec ~/SPECS/ rpmbuild -ba ~/SPECS/zypp-plugin-spacewalk.spec Which is ugly. Especially because that tar.bz2 is not always same. I recommended you using tito: https://github.com/dgoodwin/tito I will have workshop about tito at: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/DeveloperConference2011 There will be other Spacewalk developers, so it will be great if you will be able to come. Do you have binaries available somewhere? It will be great if you can take over: https://build.opensuse.org/project/show?project=home%3Axsuchy I.e. rhnlib, rhn-client-tools, rhnsd, rhncustominfo, rhncfg, osad rhn-virtualization and the new zypp-plugin-spacewalk for SLE and OpenSuse. If you manage to get it directly to OpenSuSe/SLE directly - even better. Can you write all this information about Suse repositories to: https://fedorahosted.org/spacewalk/wiki/RegisteringClients or create new page and link it there. -- Miroslav Suchy Red Hat Satellite Engineering ___ Spacewalk-devel mailing list Spacewalk-devel@redhat.com https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/spacewalk-devel

Continued submissions of good quality patches to spacewalk in general can lead to direct commit access once we have confidence in providing that. This obviously would allow you to help resolve issues direct, along with sub-projects you'd like to help maintain in our own repos. Thank you for reaching out, give us some time to review the two submissions and determine if we agree merging into our code base sooner than later. [Spacewalk-devel] (contribution) ZYpp-based Spacewalk client for SUSE systems
Hi guys, The following code allows a openSUSE/SUSE system (>= 11.4/Factory) to talk to a Spacewalk-compatible server. We pushed the source code to this repository: http://gitorious.org/opensuse/spacewalk-testsuite-base This is SUSE specific. We could keep it in gitorious.org/opensuse, but if you think spacewalk's git /client/suse is a better place, please let us know! Other patches will follow.
