Hello,
What's everyone using to import RHEL errata information into spacewalk?
My server setup has been using get_rhn_errata.py script (by Andy Speagle, (c)
2008)
but it fails trying to get RHEL6 information (seems to work OK for 5)
I tried another script, but this one whines about my API
Well you could try my scripteva-errata-direct-sync which is part of the extra vehicular admin project but they are mostly obsolete now as of spacewalk 2.0 because you can use an entitlement cert instead. The only distro its still useful with is CentOS which I expect to change shortly.-- Sent from
You don't need to use a SMT server. At least not with version 1.9.2.0
should still be ok..
As long as you have a novell userid and password you can create a repo as you
normally would using something like:
https://username:passw...@nu.novell.com/repo/$RCE/SLE11-HAE-SP3-Pool/sle-11-x86_64/
I have had success using this script:

Try ya-errata-import , works just fine with redhat, centos, Oracle Linux,
scientific Linux and epel errata.
