I've started trying to bring online a Fedora 21 distro/kickstart profile
against our Spacewalk 2.1 server. Unlike others who have had trouble
getting the fedora installer generation to work, it mostly seems to be
working for me. I'm not sure if that is because I am using 2.1 instead
of 2.2 or if

Well, I was able to register the client without the bootstrap file, but it’s
stopped talking to the spacewalk server. “System not checking in with

500 error with fedora on spacewalk 2.2 (fresh install), it sends
fedora to cobbler but the py is expecting fedora with a version

Figured it out, it’s in the client-config-overrides.txt file. Must have
overwritten that one a while back and didn’t notice the change. Thanks for the
troubleshooting steps !

That means it's not checking in with Spacewalk. Verify that the rhnsd
service is running on the client system. # service rhnsd status
Without that service running the client won't periodically check-in with
Spacewalk and thus has an unknown status. You can force the client to
check-in manually by

Hi,
Does spacewalk support MySQL database or it only supports
postgresql and oracle. If I'm going to use oracle database for spacewalk back
end for my business purpose whether I need purchase license.
