Hi list,
this might save someone some time:
although passwords longer than 32 chars work through the WebUi they don't when
used through the api.
I took sometime to find out ;)

Hello,
currently, the time format depends on selected WebUI language - English use 12h
cycle, German or French 24h cycle. If there should be some separate option for
this is worth considering.

Hi
My spacewalk shows time with a 12 hour clock (with AM/PM).
As I live in western europe, I'd like it to show 24 hour clock.
How can I change this?
Spacewalk locale preferences lets me change timezone and languages, but
not 12/24 hour clock.
I've scheduled updates or reboots 12 hours off
Thank you.

Hi Daryl.
The subscription ID was meant, you may verify it with webbrowser if
you cann access the Repo.
If not check if the Subscription is still valid.
Hope that helps.
Kind regards.

Greetings Spacewalkers,
I'm having an odd issue and so far haven't been able to figure out the root
cause.
I am running Spacewalk V2.2 on Oracle Linux 6.6. All of my client systems are
Oracle Linux 6.x
Today I converted an existing OL6.2 system to Spacewalk and upgraded it to

Tony,
When I look at Organization, I only see the username of the person who
registered with SCC. The username is what I use when I register a system to
SCC. I don't see any other credentials
Perhaps I am not entering the URL syntax correctly?
A system was registered twice and the incorrect client ID was deleted
from swalk leaving an orphaned client and/or orphaned server. Rather
than re-register the server can I edit the systemid file to reflect
the ID on swalk and restart OSAD?

Hi,
I get the above error when I schedule tasks via the GUI.
This does not happen all the time, but a vast majority of the schedules
fail with the python error.
When I check Spacewalk, the tasks seem to have worked.
We are using Spacewalk 2.1 On CentOS6
Please can you advise?
Thanks and

I have a follow up question.

our subscription number, the user ID that I log into SCC with, or the
Bernd,
Thank you for the information and for the help. I greatly appreciate it.
I'll run the blog post through Google translator and review it.
