Another thought/question…. If I can’t get access to the spacewalk server
(nw-spcwlk-201) from my clients via the proxy, the next best thing would be to
open up firewall rules. Could you provide me with the ports/directions (I have
the IP addresses) for the firewall rules required

I had similar case and we built proxies closes proximity and use mix of nfs and
rsync to mount and delivery rpm. Then use spacewalk pre cache proxy feature.
I mounted /var/spool/rhn-proxy/rhn NFSv4 TCP with adjustment of MSS through
iptables.

I have a spacewalk server version 2.2, using pgsql 8.4 on rhel 6.
When I try to add a child channel to a recently registered system using
spacewalk-channel command, it fails with the following error message:
