Re: [Spacewalk-list] setting up commerical mysql repo in sw
By any chance to you have steps how to configure mysql in the spacewalk that's will be helpful. I have setup child channel in the spacewalk and try to sync When I try to run the below command I am getting this errors yum install mysql-community-server Loaded plugins: product-id, rhnplugin, search-disabled-repos, subscription- : manager This system is receiving updates from RHN Classic or Red Hat Satellite. http://repo.mysql.com/yum/mysql-connectors-community/el/7/x86_64/repodata/repomd .xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 401 - Unauthorized Trying other mirror. One of the configured repositories failed (MySQL Connectors Community), and yum doesn't have enough cached data to continue. At this point the only safe thing yum can do is fail. There are a few ways to work "fix" this: 1. Contact the upstream for the repository and get them to fix the problem. 2. Reconfigure the baseurl/etc. for the repository, to point to a working upstream. This is most often useful if you are using a newer distribution release than is supported by the repository (and the packages for the previous distribution release still work). 3. Disable the repository, so yum won't use it by default. Yum will then just ignore the repository until you permanently enable it again or use --enablerepo for temporary usage: yum-config-manager --disable mysql-connectors-community 4. Configure the failing repository to be skipped, if it is unavailable. Note that yum will try to contact the repo. when it runs most commands, so will have to try and fail each time (and thus. yum will be be much slower). If it is a very temporary problem though, this is often a nice compromise: yum-config-manager --save --setopt=mysql-connectors-community.skip_i f_unavailable=true failure: repodata/repomd.xml from mysql-connectors-community: [Errno 256] No mor e mirrors to try. http://repo.mysql.com/yum/mysql-connectors-community/el/7/x86_64/repodata/repomd .xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 401 - Unauthorized From: spacewalk-list-boun...@redhat.com [mailto:spacewalk-list-boun...@redhat.com] On Behalf Of Wilkinson, Matthew Sent: Friday, June 16, 2017 3:18 PM To: spacewalk-list@redhat.com Subject: Re: [Spacewalk-list] setting up commerical mysql repo in sw You can setup pretty much any yum repo in Spacewalk. You can setup pretty much any yum repo in Spacewalk. Just tell it where to sync from (setup a local repo or give it the url on the web) and it will synchronize packages from it. --Matthew Wilkinson From: spacewalk-list-boun...@redhat.com [mailto:spacewalk-list-boun...@redhat.com] On Behalf Of Devaguddi, Vyas Sent: Friday, June 16, 2017 14:02 To: spacewalk-list@redhat.com Subject: [Spacewalk-list] setting up commerical mysql repo in sw [This is an external email.
