I'm having problems with forged headers allowing email with the habeas
tags. What is the best way to force a score for habeas tagged email? I
use spamassassin with spamd and sql based user black/white lists but a
common bayes db.
amassassin
Are there others?
I am the only user on the machine.
And the second questions is when i add a new .cf file, or change an existing
one (including user_prefs), do i need to restart spamd? Is there some kind of
log file generated that will tell me when/if my new rules have been read?
T
20_phrases.cf files and it seems OK.
Running spamd -D didn't give me any better info.
Any suggestions?

SPAM instead of the desired effect of letting that
email go on through to the user) if ".nospamcheck"

SpamAssassin v 2.20 - RH 7
The 2nd of 2 problems; this works:
:0fw
| spamassassin -P
:0:
* ^X-Spam-Status: Yes
/dev/null
This doesn't:
:0fw
| /usr/bin/spamc

* ^X-Spam-Status: Yes
/dev/null
This (obviously?) doesn't either:
:0fw
| spamc
...
The process just doesn't run (no scor

Thanks all! Ron

When I send email to myself, it gets tagged with this rule:
FORGED_MUA_OIMO
Why is this happening? Is it something I have set (or not set) in Outlook?
Why does it think my email is forged?

That message hit with BAYES_80, that's a +5 for my rules. Anything over
BAYES_50 is a +5 and it works like a charm. Although the other rules
are still in effect, the BAYES filter does all the real work.

I have the above in my user_prefs file, but I'm not sure if I just set them

If you do not get your mail from a POP3-Server you don't need
Mailfilter.
It can be plugged into fetchmail, which I'm going to do as soon as
I upgrade to my new (hopefully quiet) Shuttle SK41G.
Since all my clients are Linux, I might not need Amavis after that.

I bet it's "distro"-specific. For example, Debian puts it in

I'm running SA 2.60-rc1, and have noticed that spamassassin is not catching
microsoft executable attachments when they arrive as an enclosed bounce

test is done on rawbody?

However, these emails are still being flagged as spam. Anyone have

Does anyone know of a way to restart spamd to pick up a changed local.cf

It seems like that should be built in functionality.
