It looks like your /usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog file is just a symlink to 
/var/log/maillog (not /var/log/messages).  Are spamdyke's log messages 
appearing there?

Hi there.. I recently noticed in horror that a GUI change that I made 
via PLESK 12 had removed my spamdyke from /etc/xinetd.d/smtp_psa

Upon reinstating:

server_args = -Rt0 /usr/local/bin/spamdyke 
/var/qmail/bin/relaylock /usr/sbin/rblsmtpd -r bl.spamcop.net 
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-smtpd /v
ar/qmail/bin/smtp_auth /var/qmail/bin/true /var/qmail/bin/cmd5checkpw 
/var/qmail/bin/true


... and restarting the machine, I noticed that there is nothing in the 
logs about spamdyke... neither in /var/log/messages nor in 
/usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog..


My spamdyke is fairly default:
#run-as-user=USER[:GROUP]
log-level=verbose
log-target=syslog
#full-log-dir=DIR

other stuff:

-rw--- 1 root root 6.0M Mar  6 08:40 /var/log/messages

[spamdyke-users] About logging

Hi all,

i ve just discovered spamdyke. its exactly amazing.
my domains  users are all in turkey. i dont have too big spam problem.
all my personal accounts about 10. were getting only 100-150 spam mails in a
day.
but now. its not more than 5. great success !

i ve installed spamdyke 2 different distro.
qmailrocks-guided installation on debian was smooth.
done in a few seconds. it started to work without any problem.

but i have a lil problem spamdyke on plesk.
using ancient redhat 9 upgraded to kernel 2.6
everything is ok but the logging. spamdyke is working.
i can see all new smtp connections.  i can see the live log of qmail-queue.
normally i ve installed spamdyke. controlled /var/log/maillog
there was nothing. i thought spamdyke is not working.
so i ve cleaned the row in xinetd smtp file.
then compiled  installed again. i got it at 2th.
is there any issue about unable to log ?
i m using spamdyke with a config file /etc/spamdyke.
in config file log_level=2
/var/log/maillog is writeable by all.

Plesk changes /etc/syslog.conf to move the mail logs to a different 
location.  Check /usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog.
