After our call last week I took the action to draft up an adoption page on the
wiki where we could :
1. List those items we felt we wanted to track adoption for.
2. State goals.
3. State metrics for measuring.

I think you need a bold statement like that so there is a firm foundation. I
mean we could deprecate an identifier so it's not to be used anymore but if we
start putting them in code they can't just disappear.

Coming back to a higher level... What is the purpose of this page? We need
to be very clear on this. In my mind it is to propose a best practice or a
coding standard. Assuming folks agree with that, then why are we asking for
people to propose new tags at the bottom of the page - that
