Re: Business Scenarios
We are working on a "citizen-centric" solution for regional set of public sector organizations. Most of the major IdM vendors are involved, but no white papers have been published at this time. -- Dick On 10-Jan-07, at 8:42 AM, McGovern, James F ((HTSC, IT)) wrote: I am looking for any generic whitepapers targeted at any vertical that outline a business scenario (not the usual consumer- orientation) where user-centric identity has either been deployed or at least discussed. Also would love to know of situations in which user-centric identity displaced PKI based implementations. If something exists in this space but hasn't been written up, maybe I could task several industry analysts to provide coverage. ** *** This communication, including attachments, is for the exclusive use of addressee and may contain proprietary, confidential and/or privileged information. Additionally, there are the Web 2.0 and O'Reilly Emerging tech conferences. I am speaking at a couple of CERT conferences and the W3C conference as well as a couple European IdM conferences. > > Also curious if anyone has been pushing the industry analyst crowd to > provide coverage? I have briefed Gartner, Forrester and the Burton Group on OpenID and the user-centric model. User-centric identity was discussed in several presentations at the last Catalyst conference. At that time, SXIP/DIX and OpenID had not converged and DIX had more prominence. -- Dick ___ specs mailing list specs@openid.net http://openid.net/mailman/listinfo/specs
