ISOLA TALKS & WALKS (Milan, December ‘07)
Experiencing the city: walks, meetings, exchanges

A serie of meetings dedicated to the reading of the city:
Experimental Confines / Productive Networks / Sound Islands / Creative Networks

For this occasion aMAZElab presented a special artist’s project, a light installation created for the event by the artist Simone Berti. The work is a transparent sculpture which symbolises a galaxy suspended in the sky above the Isola neighbourhood. The public will thus find themselves faced with a work poised between the absurd and the everyday, between the real and the imaginary.

The exhibition, set up at Arnolfini in Bristol,  collects the master works (1967 – 2007) of 40 years of the photographer’s activity. The exhibition will be accompanied by the first monography (Damiani Editore), curated by Claudia Zanfi.
