at last my Silver Speedtouch 330 Rev. 4.0 works !!!
This after installing the new speedtouch rpm file of Frederic Ruaudel
and using ZZZLboth.eni as firmware.
(using ping I see that I lose some packets, perhaps it's normal)

At this point I think
get disconnected very often
every 20 or 30 minutes or less

I mistakenly modified /etc/ppp/peers/adsl file
rather than /etc/ppp/peers/speedtch
is there a detailed explanation of the solution proposed in the mail
archives ?

The easiest is my solution because it only consist of doing rpm -[iU]vh
blabla and set your account information. And it should work without
problem.
But if you want to understand all the process or if my solution doesn't
