I'm using Mandrake 8.0 and the contents of 21082001.tar.gz, I did not recompile the kernel, I also edited /etc/modules.conf (replaced usb-uhci with uhci to avoid unclean unmounts). The system works most of the time well, but sometimes the system crashes, here is anb excerpt of the screen I get

Anyone have 'kernel panic' when using Benoits drivers with Debian (kernel versions 2.2.17 and 2.2.19)? I've switched to Libranet which has kernel version 2.4.3 and everything works ok. Just like someone to confirm the Benoit drivers don't work with the previous mentioned kernels. Liste de

Bonjour, Bon je suis un peu dans la panade mais passons sur les etats d'ame :) J'ai une Debian 2.2r2 sur un athlon 500mhz avec le fameux chipset via. Comme cette distribution n'est pas suffisement à jour pour traiter le kernel 2.4 comme il se doit je me suis mis en quete de prog à jour tel pppd
