5. the mix-up is probably due to the fact that, previous to the
speedbundle installation I tried the speedmgt installation from Alcatel
but that didn't work. The bigger problem I have right now is to get rid of
speedmgt installation..

can you help me with this ??

In /etc/hotplug/usb you probably have two files:
speedtch, and speedtouch.usermap (?). Remove
the file speedtouch.usermap.

Ciao,

Duncan.

[speedtouch] pppoa2 -b open tap with ipv6 ip (?)

2003-12-01 Thread Nuno Teixeira

Hello to all,

(OS: FreeBSD 5.1)

I'm running with success pppoa2 (beta3) with PPPoE enabled. I've noticed
that I can only make the connection if I got IPv6 enabled in kernel.
Also, pppoa2 open tap0 pseudo-device with an ipv6 ip:

tap0: flags=8843UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST mtu 1500
inet6 fe80::2bd:f3ff:fe15:0%tap0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x3
ether 00:bd:f3:15:00:00
Opened by PID 527

Can anyone tell me why? It is possible to disable IPv6 since I don't use
it on my home network?

Thanks very much,

Nuno Teixeira

What version of the user space driver and which firmware are you using? If
you use the KQD6P2.eni firmware you should use the latest beta (1.2beta3).

I did see a few of the above yesterday, but that was a line issue. In your
case I suspect it's an incompatibility between the firmware and the driver
version.

Bye,
Leonard.

Hm. I do see these wrong VPI/VCI's again here. Nasty.

Edouard, maybe we should have a look at this again. Maybe the frame size
restriction should not have been removed after all. I think I put it back
in again and see if it helps. I'll let you know.

Bye,
Leonard.
