The problem being that the interface created by pppoa3 is not "UP" and can't be used. You might try the patch from Tiago Cogumbreiro <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> sent ealier on this list (available at http://www.mail-archive.com/speedtouch%40ml.free.fr/msg06485.html). You could also try the CVS version where this problem has been fixed in src/pppoa3.c (for the GNU/Linux platform only).
