What is the output of running this command: grep CONFIG_ATM_BR2684 /boot/config* ? Ciao, Duncan. Liste de diffusion modem ALCATEL SpeedTouch USB Pour se désinscrire : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Yes, i am using br2684 that i downloaded from http://gothicx.blogs.sapo.pt > > /8886.html or the one i downloaded from > http://bits.webhs.org/bitaites/?p=1786&page=2 which i guess are the same. Actually, in my first mail i said i followed the steps in the link http://www.guiaubuntupt.org > > /wiki/index.php?title=SpeedTouch_330 but that link is wrong, i meant http://bits.webhs.org/bitaites/?p=1786&page=2. It's in portuguese, but anyway you can understand it, because no matter the portuguese crap the commands are there and i followed the order top down. Uff, i just wish i could follow some clear recipy that could make it work at once! Thanks for your time :) If any more info needed please tell me! Hi all, Guiving a try to Linux, i installed the Ubuntu Edgy Eft and it was ok. The problem is that i can't install the damn Speedtouch 330 USB modem for portugal SAPO provider, and there are 2 weeks i am trying (first with dapper drake and now with edgy eft) and since i still can't do it unforunelly i will have to go back to windows where at least connecting is simple and efficient. I first used the script http://gothicx.blogs.sapo.pt/8886.html and as it didn't work out i then tried to follow the steps described at http://www.guiaubuntupt.org/wiki/index.php?title=SpeedTouch_330 I did this for dapper drake.
