Try unplugging the modem, issue # rm -f /var/run/pppoa3-modem1.pid # killall pppoa3 and then rerun modem_run again (after you plugged it back in of course). If you are using the bordeaux red Speedtouch 330 you need to add the -s switch as well. Also you might want to use the latest Thomson firmware (KQD6P2.eni, http://download.ethomson.com/download/KQD6_R204.zip). Another thing, if you are using a 2.4.22 or later kernel you could also try using the kernel space driver instead. Bye, Leonard.
