Haven't been able to find a solution to this problem, can anyone help? I
have a book with three parts and am using multiple numbered toctrees to
implement it, e.g.:
.. toctree::
:caption: Part I
:maxdepth: 1
:numbered:
chA
chB
...
.. toctree::
:caption: Part

Unfortunately, I don't know *anything* about latex. Would a new toctree
parameter, say :startnum: be accepted if it only worked only html & epub?
Perhaps another developer could enhance latex later.
