Hi, If you're okay to write a HTML file, you can do it with html_additional_pages setting: http://www.sphinx-doc.org/en/master/config.html#confval-html_additional_pages For example, the top page of sphinx-doc.org uses it to generate index page.

I am creating documentation site using Sphinx. I would like to create a home/index page that has a completely different style and structure than the actual pages in the site. By default, all Sphinx pages build using the same configured template which has the same style and structure. How can I
