If Tod Jones is still on the list please contact me off line,

Or if anyone is in the Harrisonburg, VA area.
My son just lost the xmission on our van up there. I'm looking for
a xmission shop to have the car towed to and get an estimate on
having it fixed.
TIA

Poor you, this is one time it's worth being in the 'old country'. For cars
built pre Jan 1973 the tax is free so we can afford our fleet of
Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and I think
Colorado (don't remember for sure on that state) the tags all went with
the owner, not the car. Various additional restrictions would preclude
the tag from staying with the owner, requiring tag turn in upon vehicle
title transfer.
update to the previous posting, I have a Jaeger insert that i could swap if
someone has a Smiths insert.

Hi all, I wonder if someone could help me. I would like to purchase, swap, or
whatever the insert that goes into the Smiths Amp meter. It is the piece of
tin that sits directly behind the glass and it has a very small tag at the top,
it just says Smiths on it.
I have a picture on my webpage shou
I like the over-all look (a bit like a smiley face!!). Only comment is that
the word 'AMPS' seems to be placed a little too high - it might look better
if it was more central? Just an opinion!
