Frequency, signal strength, and format is typical of M08a, but I don't recall
the signal being sloppily sent. I forget the time-of-day for M08a transmission
schedules though, and I can't be completely certain

6855 kHz was supposed to be V02a, but I only heard a carrier. Did anyone else
catch activity on this frequency? I’m having local QRM issues and Pedro’s
modulation is weak, so I might be wrong.

I didn't find M8a on its 'usual' frequencies during my listening period
of 5:00 - 7:30 UTC. However, I did find a carrier on 9063 kHz at 8:21z,
but I couldn't identify it due to local QRM. Did anyone else hear /

Unless it runs generator power half the time, which would be unlikely.

SK01 was on 9153 kHz using HamDRM at 0530z. If I didn't have BPL I would
have easily decoded it; it was very strong. The 0630z SK01 hasn't been
reported since April.

I've noticed that the AC hum on the 18 MHz daytime V2a transmission was 50 Hz,
while the 6.8 MHz nighttime V2a is 60 Hz. Would this indicate different
transmitter sites?

I'm not sure what they're doing but I just caught SK01 (6/30/12 21:13z) on
HamDRM. It was at the unusual frequency of 17478 kHz. This time I recorded
it until the end using a large metal structure as an antenna.

The '8 and 5' ambiguity has to do with the carrier cutting out. I've noticed
this with that particular transmissions. Using sideband helps to alleviate
the problem.
